Why and when I did start my business:
After a successful career working for global public sector organisations, like the United Nations in NY and Geneva, I became a certified professional coach 10 years ago in order to take a more personal approach to helping individuals lead richer, healthier, and more successful and fulfilling lives. I also wanted ultimate freedom and independence, free from geographical boundaries.
This is my target market or audience:
I work with anyone who is sincerely motivated and willing to change, and who believes this change will make them, their life, and the people who surround them, better. I specialize in leadership development across different cultures, working with senior leaders, their teams, and individuals in global companies working in diverse industries. Where country relocation is involved, I also provide support for cultural adaptation issues, especially partner/spouse career transition.
How I would like to see my business change in the future:
No change needed. I can happily and easily work from anywhere in the world with anyone located anywhere who needs my support. My freedom and success is a dream come true. I'd simply love for more and more people to experience the life transforming benefits of good coaching.
My advice to other BWN members which want to start a own business:
Start with yourself. Success and fulfillment is an inside-out journey, no matter where you live or who you're with or what you've got. Feel free to get in touch if you've got a question or anything else I may be able to help you with.
My biggest business achievement:
I've been lucky. I've had to work since the age of 14, yet have consistently done fulfilling work unhampered by geographical boundaries that has made a positive contribution on some scale. My coaching business is the culmination of all that has come before--my ultimate and most fulfilling career, because it is about helping others achieve and enjoy their own ultimate life purpose and fulfillment too.
