Brief description of the business:
Tables and decorative objects made to order from antique reclaimed hydraulic tiles (baldosas).
Business address:
C/ Gayarre, 2 Pral.
Barcelona
08014
Why and when I did start my business:
From Los Angeles, we moved to Barcelona 8 years ago, walking through the streets, I noticed that the dumpsters were filled with hydraulic tiles. Treasures in my eyes, I could not stand the idea to see these beauties be lost for ever and thought of an idea to give them a second life.
This is my target market or audience:
Anyone who appreciates these tiles and value them.
How I would like to see my business change in the future:
I would like to see some involvement from the city into a recycling program when it comes to the preservation of the heritage.
My advice to other BWN members which want to start a own business:
Take a walk and just enjoy the architecture, this city has so much to offer...
My biggest business achievement:
Have my clients fall in love with what they buy from me and really believe they just got themselves a treasure !
